Welcome back, friends! It’s June. For us, that means another month closer to taming the “debt beast.”
We’ve paid $61,025.05 so far, and we have $27,950.87 left to go. 💪
This beast emerged from our unexpected home renovation journey. If you’re just joining us, you can catch up on our project. Our foundation and deck repair costs ballooned by over $56,000. Check out our last post for more details.
This month, we’re sharing an update on our progress and the continued discipline it takes to tackle a significant debt when life throws you a curveball – or three change orders!

Month-by-Month Breakdown
This month, we’ve continued our planned payment of $2,745.84. While it feels like a large chunk of our monthly budget, seeing that principal balance drop is a huge win. We’re consistently chipping away at the remaining balance, knowing that each payment brings us closer to being debt-free on this project.
